Draw, paint or sing a better world! No need to be a professional artist, or even an art student…just a young person with an idea about what the world should be in 2021.

A work of art does not reproduce what is already there, it imagines something new, something unseen, something aspirational and makes it visible for all the world to see.
The Be2021 movement is dependent on YOUR vision for what the world should look like in 2021. Now that you’ve articulated a vision, express it creatively. We are big fans of the arts, and know that many of you are as well. Let’s see what ‘justice’ looks like in pen and ink. Or how we can dance ‘peace’. Why not photograph ‘love’, or throw ‘safe’. You get the picture.

The details:
- We will accept submissions of all types, including music, film, painting, theater, poetry, etc.
- Later this year the network will vote on top pieces. Selected pieces will be featured at Be2021 events.
- Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis through September 1st.
- Anyone is eligible to enter, however as this is a youth movement we’re particularly interested in submissions from young people (self-defined!).
